Overview

In this project, my role involves drafting the app's information architecture, designing the UX journey's user flow, creating wireframes, and developing the final UI design during Phase 2 of the project. I'm grateful for the collaboration and support from my teammates and the opportunity provided by Bupa and DigiSalad to contribute to this innovative endeavour.

Project Goals

1. Enhance the myBupa membership program to include both individual and corporate members

2. Expand the mission and challenge section to include P2P, open, and corporate challenges with added gamification elements to boost user interaction.

Information Architecture

Since each challenge has a unique mechanism, I have visualized them using simple infographics and outlined the mechanisms before progressing to the actual user flow stage. Additionally, I collaborated with Project Managers to ensure that the initial design process met the client's requirements.

User Flow

P2P Challenge - Main Challenges:

  • Winning Mechanisms: Define clear criteria for completing challenges, such as both participants finishing tasks in a P2P challenge.
  • Participation Limits: Addressing scenarios where users reach their daily participation limits but attempt to continue engaging.
  • Handling Invitations and Notifications: Establish rules for invitations, including single or multiple-use deep links, expiration times, and statuses like 'pending', 'accepted', 'declined', and 'completed'."

Open Challenge - Main Challenges:

  • Winning Mechanisms: Set criteria for winning open challenges. Address issues like users joining late by requiring a minimum target for rewards.
  • Defining the Start of a Challenge: Define when a challenge begins. For example, in a steps challenge, users must click 'Start Challenge' after joining to begin syncing health data."
